It is okay to pay for sex, for the simple fact that two consenting people are in an agreement. Someone is providing a service for money, and that is acceptable even though it is using sex as a transaction. People bodily autonomy, and can choose what do with it. To police someone else’s body is taking away their right to what they may with it. If the individual selling sex is consenting, of age and in a safe environment, there is no issue in the selling of sex. Some people do not feel comfortable or have social anxiety when it comes to talking to people of the same or opposite gender, and paying for sex allows them to do so.
