One Length Hair Cut.

Equipment required:
Scissors, cutting collar, sectioning clips, gown, towel, comb, water spray.
How to sit or positioning of the client:
The client must be sitting up nice and straight with their head slightly tilted towards the floor to prevent unwanted graduation, it is absolutely vital that the client does not have their legs crossed as this could cause problems with balance and symmetry.
Cutting techniques used for one length cut:
Club cutting at a 0’degree angle to achieve a solid line.

Short Graduation Cut

Cutting Techniques used for short graduation:
Club Cutting angles between 45’degrees and 90’degrees increasing or decreasing the amount of weight left in the cut, scissor over comb, or freehand.
The cutting process for Short Graduation:
Section the hair in to hot cross bun sections, starting at the nape area take a clean section from the centre and elevate the section at a 90’degree s this will result in a even length cut from occipital to nape, work vertically to create soft lines, having achieved the desired length use this as a guide and continue to cut around the head to behind the ears on each side. Make sure you use the last section as a guide to allow for the natural fall of the hair.
At the point of behind the ears change the angle from vertical to slight diagonal reducing
