So now I have to become a responsible adult in not buy unnecessary items and buy items that can last my family throughout the week so we can be able to survive.
During this assignment I did take into account that I may not have reliable resources I may need to complete this assignment. For instance, I did not have a car so I had to take the city bus there and back to get my food items I needed but from besides that small obstacles, I did have all of my available resources to complete this mission. For instance, I had good credit and a baby sitter while I went to the market and brought the food for my family. Therefore, I was able to complete this assignment with very little

Enjoyable, healthier options are becoming more apparent in companies and restaurants to allow for food with nutritional value. Most restaurants now, even have an alternative menu with lighter, and healthier options to chose from. If wanting to obtain a healthy well-balanced diet, one would choose some of the food with good advantages. Another healthy alternative would be to go to the grocery store to buy food to make a fresh, home-cooked meal, instead of eating out at a restaurant. One may claim that it is expensive to buy all the ingredients to make a healthy meal, but if one calculates the amount for a 4-person dinner at a local restaurant, and the amount of money it would be nearly equivalent in cost.…

Many families are now keeping logs of what they are eating, or even “prepping”, (cooking their meals for the week on Sunday or Monday nights, and portioning them out to be nutritionally beneficial) their dinners and meals. In addition, families can focus on refraining from serving meals “family style”, (in large portions, to be passed around at the dinner table). Families are also controlling the “snacking habits” of their children. They are not allowing their children to eat anywhere other than a designated area, and are not giving children snacks as a way of rewarding them (Scaffa, 2010,…

The first skill that was used to engage my client was using an open ended question at the beginning of my interview. According to Hohman (2002), “open-ended questions are those that have a variety of possible answers and do not limit the client” (p.20) using this strategy allows the client to explore his own thoughts and it encourages the client to do most of the talking.
