The recommend amount on dairy food is 3.0 cups. However, my actual intake was only 0.9 cup. I am way below 2.1 cups for what I needed. If I looked at my micronutrient intake, vitamin D and Calcium are the group that I have the lowest percent. It makes sense because most of the best source for vitamin D and calcium is from dairy group. I should definitely need to increase milk, yogurt, cheeses, etc in my diet. It is because I have sciatic paint, and joint problems. I should keep eyes on those micronutrients to improve my bone problem. I also should go out to get sunshine in the morning, so my body can absorb more vitamin D from the sun that helps for my bone density. My goals to improve nutrients in this area are I should drink milk with my breakfast instead of drink coffee from start buck. Changing milk to coffee may help me decrease my sugar intake, and increase more vitamin and calcium for my body. I also need to provide yogurt or cheeses for my snack time rather than have chips. Besides that, I also have a very low percents on others type of minerals and vitamins. I also need to add more vegetable in my meals. I should prepare more salads portion and bring it to school instead of ordering food from
