I. The Nutcracker ballet is one of the most famous ballets in history. For many, it is a yearly tradition to watch or perform this well-known performance. This story starts on Christmas Eve with two siblings, Clara and Fritz, being led to see their presents. Clara instantly falls in love with a nutcracker soldier. After deciding to play with the doll, Fritz accidently breaks its bottom teeth. Clara becomes mad and cares for the nutcracker in the playroom. The clock strikes twelve and she realizes it is late in the night. As she heads upstairs, she is stopped by the noise of tiny scurrying feet.
