The start-up about which I am going to write about is a company which work’s in a very high end and highly competitive market of storage virtualization it has risen through ranks since its establishment and has survived this highly competitive market segment since 2009. If we give a close look to this industry we will observe that this industry comprise of various big players with huge stakes involved. It is headquartered in San Jose California. The thing which intrigues me towards Nutanix is not just the technology aspect of the company but the people aspect of it and the vision with which all the Nutanix technologies are being built. The Nutanix way of doing business is not to keep any secrets unlike the other technology vendors because in the case of high end storage virtualization technologies a lot of companies keep secrets and hide their technologies as they thinks it’s their bread and butter. Nutanix has 51% market share of this segment and has managed to give big scares to many tech giants. All these factors contribute to the coolness of Nutanix and how it shows us that it’s not about how big your competition is but it’s about how you rise up and face this competition with the belief in your idea and values. The market for which there is such a big tussle going on between these tech giants is considered to be one of the biggest markets in tech sectors and is believed to grow at a very rapid rate and this market will be worth 77 billion USD due to which there is a flood of start-up companies in this segment. But Nutanix has continuously proved that the entrepreneurial spirit with which this company was established and the cutting edge technology which Nutanix is developing will keep them ahead of the competition by at least five years. Nutanix has a very simple rule to be popular in market it is just about being confident about your product and compete with the existing products available in the market very boldly. Nutanix has a business strategy where they are very vocal about the products they are competing with and they don’t shy away from comparing different competitor products.
