Nut Island case highlights the importance of having a cohesive relationship between management and the workforce. The article explains the outcome of how discrepancy between management and employees can affect the entire outcome of a project. This paper assesses the reward system and individual and team discipline of Junior League of Richmond as well as evaluation of current existing evaluation system, critical tasks and processes.
Reward System
Junior League of Richmond has annual award ceremony where exceptional leaders or peers get nominated for their service to the league. “In order for the League to accomplish its mission and strategic vision, it is important for us to all renew our commitment to the League each year and to continue our personal growth and contributions within the organization” (Junior League of Richmond, 2017).
Individual and Team Discipline
As described in previous paper, Junior League of Richmond has many committees within the organization in order to overlook all essential criteria. Evaluation criteria includes advisor social attendance, community council requirement, general membership meeting attendance, Clothes Rack volunteer hours, in-league service, self development courses and new member meetings. “Internal feedback demonstrates that our people like the predictability of this process and the fact that because each person is assigned a counselor, he or she has a representative at the consensus meetings” (Goodall, Buckingham & Ashkenas, 2015).
