Nurses play big roles in healthcare system, and their personal health cannot be ignored or dismissed. It believed that nurses are always taking care and helping sick people, but sometimes nurses need someone to take care of them. According to Camille Obrim It is believed that about 10% of all working nurses suffer from some form of chemical dependency. Most of nurses who have these kind of issues are not productive to the society and in order for them to fight their addiction they need specific help and close monitoring. Nurses who participate in KNAP program they have to be monitored very close On going monitoring is required ,members are required to do drug test every months ,sometimes drug screens it can be random or if participant has job they will contact his/her employer. Nurses who are participating in the KNAP program are allowed to continue with practice while completing the treatment program but they will have restrictions for the first six months. They will not allowed to touch any kind of medication for a period of six months (Key restriction) or if they do so it will have to be under supervision. According to the Camille Obrime the administrator assistant of the KNAP, the first day of key restriction depends on the status of nurse by the time joining the program, if participant has a job the key restriction start the day he/she start treatment program. But if participant is unemployed the first day for key restriction it will start the day one in the new job. There is nowhere in KSBN website where they motioned about nurses recidivism rate in Kansas. Even assistant administrator of KNAP was not able to provided me the recidivism rate for
