Sometimes what is said and how it is said can play a role in communication so the nurse should always show professionalism and be cautious of the way things are said. It is important for the nurse to show up on time and to be prepared. A nurse never knows what will happen during the shift so they should always be prepared for the unexpected. If an emergency situation occurs the nurse would show professionalism by remaining calm, level headed, and on top of the situation as fast as possible.
