Nursing Midwife Personal Statement

A subject that inspired me to want to become a nursing midwife was science specifically health. I took the health course at my old school (VHHS). Mr. Gentry did a whole lesson on the reproductive system and many of its outcomes, such as pregnancy, miscarriage, and STDs. I saw an embryo which I immediately found cool. Then and there is when I started researching jobs that have to do with childbirth, the ones that intrigued me by far were the nursing midwife or OB-GYN. Then I started watching videos of women in labor and then obviously the part where the actual baby came out, and as freshmen, i found that disgusting but I found it interesting so I watched much more and it became normal.
