The question being asked here is if the lack of education in ethics in undergraduate nurses affects nursing care as compared to if they had proper education. This would fall under the category of prevention because as nurses with education in ethics, we can prevent certain issues from arising or if they do, we can handle them properly with sufficient knowledge and training. The best type of evidence to answer this question is qualitative research because qualitative search methods are used in social settings and the researcher doesn’t actually try to certify the data but rather try’s to figure out the meaning of what the participants said. I used Google search while specifically searching in the Scholar article section and also used library databases such as EBSCO, CINAHL and OVID. To gather my information together to formulate a PICO (T) question, I narrowed it down to content I found using all databases and combined it to be able to answer the question given to me. The first article I found on the CINAHL database was the article titled “Nursing Ethics of Employment – Nursing Ethics in Organization.” The second article I found was through EBSCO titled “The New ‘Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretative Statements’ (2015): Practical Clinical Application, Part II.” These two articles were selected because they talk about the Code of Ethics for Nurses and breaks down the provisions and what nurses can do to improve their care for the
