She came from India in 2008 to Oklahoma City. She completed her nursing in India from CMC Ludhiana, after coming to Oklahoma City she worked as a certified nursing assistant for four months in Integris Baptist medical center. Then she wrote the NCLEX test and started working as a Registered Nurse in the same hospital. While she was working as a Registered nurse she went back to school to get her BSN degree. She graduated as a BSN from continued to work as a BSN in the same hospital. Now she is on her way to finish her Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner.

She has given equal quality of time to every patient, even if she have spent five minutes with them. Confidentiality is very important in nursing profession. It is very important to show love and care to each and every patient. She said she won’t act like she is at home. She have to show standard in talking to a patient, giving instruction and all other things she do. She have incorporated professionalism in whatever she has done as nurse.
The advice she gave for beginning nurses are to set a goal when they start working. They have to love what they are doing. It is important to have a heart to care for everyone who is in need, no matter how bad they look, which race they are, what culture they belong to. Every patient should be equal. It is the nurse’s responsibility to provide care. She also added that Nursing is a very stressful job to manage along with your other responsibilities such as family, but it is a noble
