Nursing is such a demanding profession in the health field; but at the same time one of the most rewarding career; nursing enhances characteristics such as “patient contact care” relationship that involves feelings and emotions; caring for the other ones is a great feeling. Having a caring nature’ being able to comfort and support people who are ill, vulnerable and sad. Be empathic another characteristic that involves the understanding how patients are feeling “you have to put ourselves in their shoes” given the emotional support needed. As a nurse any day is different, you do not know wht is going to happen on the next shift, but you must adapt and give your 100% in what you do.
