$69,280 per year; That’s, $33.31 per hour. That’s the earnings of a psychologist. I actually thought about nursing for the longest time, until was a senior and I took a psychology course. It peaked my interest from day one. I love learning about people's inner thoughts of ones mind. I want to be able to help someone's life in a positive way. The educations required to become a psychologist, is a doctoral degree or a specialist degree. Having a masters degree opens more doors for you if you don't want to take time in school. If you have a license or a certificate you can be a practicing psychologist.

Data proves that one third of psychologist were self employed. A lot of them have private practices. In having a private practice you have more flexibility in their daily schedules. You can have many choices in choosing you work setting; These setting include; clinics. Hospitals, Rehab Centers, Community Centers, and, other Health facilities.
Within the occupation of psychology there are different fields, such as Industrial- organizational, there are clinical, conuselling and school which in averages out to be 11 percent. The job outlook seems to be increasing and there will be a need in the future as disorders' are on the raise; doctors and psychologist's are collaborating with each other.
It will take hard work and dedication to achieve this goal, I will have to learn not let stress affect my everyday life. I need to learn to take the time to understand that it won’t be easy; But in the end it will be worth all the time and dedication I spent in getting a degree high than most plans to
