The profession I have chosen in the healthcare administration area is health and medical service manager. This means you plan, direct, and/or coordinate medical and health services. In hospitals, clinics, managed care organizations, public health agencies, or similar organizations. I want to work in a hospital or a long term facility. This all includes conducting and administering fiscal operations. Which includes the following: accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services, and coordinating financial reporting. Also you direct, supervise, and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and all other personnel. Starting my apprenticeship before finishing college will help me get a job when I graduate. After I get my apprenticeship I plan on going to a hospital or long-term facility, if there are no facilities around my area for those jobs. I would consider going to a doctor’s office if there were no jobs open around in my area. Kaplan University Career Services can assist me in the career goals I have chosen by helping me find an apprenticeship around in the area that I live in. They can also help by giving advice that will help me also achieve the career goals that I have chosen. Once I graduate career services can help me achieve my ultimate career goals by helping me find my dream job. Making sure that I have everything I need to fulfill the job at hand. They can help me find the resources I need to complete all of my career goals. In five years I see myself graduated. Having an apprenticeship under my belt, before I start working at a hospital or long-term facility. I see myself working at a hospital in the state of Ohio. Being a Healthcare Manager at a hospital is where I will be in five years. If I can achieve on getting more than one apprenticeship, then I can become a healthcare manager even faster out of college. I see myself achieving all of my career goals and leading the successful life I dream about
