Before I start on how nurses have their communities, I am first going to start on what community is. Community is “a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the larger society within which it exists” this means that a community can be anything. A community can be a community of students or a community of Catholics. A community can also be business suitable too. For example, relating to our subject, Nurses are a community because they both share something similar with one another. The reason is that since they are better educated, they have to be better behaved than other people. Sometimes nurses will go and party as a community in order for them not to become very wild. They also tend to act very professional at work. They all tend to help patients in a nice, respectable manner. A good example would be when I went to volunteer with a nurse. I noticed that not only her but all of the nurses tended to act very kindly towards the patients. When I finally had the courage I asked her, why does everyone treat the patents nice? She said, we tend to treat our patients like our family members, we tend to make them feel as much close to home as possible so that they can recover much faster and have a speedy recovery. Nurses tend to also create a community with the patent. They try to make the patient feel like home in order for them to provide the best care possible. That way, patients can go home and tell everyone on how the nurses from the hospital made him
