With technologies advancing every day, sometimes it is hard to keep up, but to provide the best care hospitals and nurses must learn to keep up with advancements. This means that now nurses must take time from their homes and families to learn these new technologies to be able to take care of the growing number of patients. Burnout will happen if they are continually bombarded with too much work, patients and being pulled in too many different ways. Employers need to find ways to lighten this workload so they can keep nurses working and patients will receive the care they want, expect and need. If we do not provide nurses with the resources they need to be successful, then hospitals and other facilities will continually be short staffed, workers will be overworked and feel they are under appreciated and will look for places to work where they are appreciated and not under pressure to do tasks that they are not prepared to
