For nurses, today more than ever, participation in share governance and decision making process, it is definitely essential. By engaging in decision-making processes to influence positive changes in the work environment, as well as sharing authority, responsibility, building collaboration, communication and trust, and to empower all members of the nursing staff through the shared governance structures, nurses can help shapes the care we provide and creates better ways to do what we do.
