My nurse preceptor today was Miya. She was a great nurse from the moment I met her. She was receptive to my presence, questions, and assistance. The thing that I liked most about her as a nurse was her knowledge and spirit. She was honest with her patients and coworkers. She did not hesitate to ask for help if she needed it. Everyone on the unit worked as a cohesive team. She was also very thorough with her work. If I could name a tip that I could recommend to my colleagues based on my experience, it would be the following: don’t be afraid to ask for help.
