As a charge nurse, she keeps her staff informed of most up to date information through continuous education and motivated to develop her skills. According to the ANA (2010) a healthy nurse lives life to the fullest capacity as they become better role models, advocates and educators to their communities and work environment. As a nurse in charge she respects patient beliefs, value, and dignity, treat every single patient with respect. She believe a patient right should be honored at all time and no one should be treated differently, because of their skin color, background or religious beliefs. By observing her help me related to my long term goals. Her empathy and caring way has affected me positively throughout my nursing career.
