One of the biggest things is knowing how much I would get paid. If I were to become a nurse and work in the hospital I would be making on average $68, 910 a year (“Registered Nurse: Salary”). A lot of Registered Nurses make more than other types of health care professional, but not as much as certain therapists and doctors. A Registered Nurse can decide that they would like to make more money and could go back to school to become a nurse practitioner. Nurse practitioners make more money than a regular RN. They usually make around $95,070 a year (“Registered Nurse: Salary”). If I were to decide I wanted to be a vet I could eventually be making up to $84,460 to $144,100 (“Veterinary Salary”). There is always a need for nurses, not only at hospitals or doctors offices, but also at schools, nursing homes, and more. If I was to become an RN it wouldn’t be hard to find a job especially since I would be doing clinicals in a hospital at college. If everything ends up going well at that hospital, I could most likely keep that job there. Overall I don’t think it would be too difficult to find a job being a Registered nurse. If I was a veterinarian it would be a lot more difficult to find a job. Most of the time vets start their own practice and open up their own office. Once I would open up my own place, I would then have to wait for people to realize that I am a vet and then see if I get patients. A lot of the time most people already have vets for their animals, so it is a lot harder to start your own
