ntroduction:The purpose of this article was to test Nurse Assistant’s commitment to their job. A survey wasdesigned concerning the outlook of the work place which was based off job satisfaction, workplace relationships and resident care, to receive data over the turnover rates, how wellrespected works were to the residents, knowledge, teamwork and supervision over the nurseassistants.Development:As the survey was designed to receive data over the three key points, satisfaction, workplacerelationships and resident care; It was studied that most turn over raters were because of the poor benefits and low wages, for a lot of hard work. It was also studied that the better therelationship with the resident that better the care and commitment, as stated in the article ‘’Committed workers are more likely to interact positively with resident-‘’ (pg 9/15). …show more content…
I feel there should be a study over how work would be if wagesimproved, how people feel about the low wages with difficult work and how wages canimprove. My outlook is that a lot of improvements to the health care field could bring betterwork and commitment.Conclusion:Nursing Assistants’ Job Commitment: Effect of Nursing Home Organizational Factors and Impact ofResident Well-Being, was an article based off of a study of three important points that couldimprove nursing homes. The study was not only to improve the nursing homes but specificallythe work done in them for the residents. Also the turnover rates and commitment of nursingassistants, showing that satisfaction and better relationships with residents and staff wouldbring better work and commitment. I feel as if I agree with the data from the study, but therealso should be measures token to improve all things with in nursing homes, based around thethree points, job satisfaction, work place relationships and resident
