The story is about a young boy that decides the give a mouse a cookie, but he never imagined what would come out of that decision. Once the boy gave the mouse the cookie he starts to get other responsibilities that relate with him giving the cookie to the mouse. When he gave the cookie to the mouse, he soon finds out that he has to give him a glass of milk and even more. By giving a mouse a cookie brought the young boy many responsibilities. He’s responsibilities went from just giving the mouse a cookie to giving the mouse everything that he wanted. In real life, we ask for things but we never imagined what might come from it. We also never think about the outcomes of doing something, in this case the young boy never thought that the mouse would ask for so many things after he got his cookie. This book showed how from one thing many responsibilities can come from it.
