seven is the number of “the divine ordering of worldly affairs”, that is why the seven Angels who yield seven trumpets will represent a book of seven seals to John and each seal represents an event that will occur during the ends times. There were also seven sections in each of the seven letters written to the seven churches. Each seal represents a judgment that will pass on earth after the sound of the trumpet and by the 6th trumpet “1/3 of the earth’s population will be killed” while those who remain will consist of the people who have not repented (Revelation 9:20).
