Nullarbor Incident Report

Experimental Drug Unleashes Havoc.

Arthur Knight, a local man aged 25, called our office at around 5am this morning, while leaving the Nullarbor on his way to Melbourne, reporting a sighting of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).

“It was just after five in the morning, when I had to swerve to miss this huge, glowing object on the road. Suddenly, it landed on top of the car with an almighty clunk.”

Unfortunately, Knight was unable to provide photo evidence of the car. Many other drivers within the local Nullarbor area use the stretch of road constantly but have reported nothing about the incident. Having only one incident reported, this case left many spokespeople from the Australian Planetary Investigation Society (APIS) confused.

On the above date and time I was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Ridge Road and Formel Avenue. While traveling West on Ridge Road, I observed a teal colored, 4 door Saturn traveling directly in front of my patrol vehicle. I could observe the male driver's seat belt buckle dangling over his left shoulder. I had a clear, unobstructed view directly through the untinted back window of the vehicle. I provided dispatch with the vehicle's FL tag (238TAW), and advised that I would be conducting a traffic stop before activating my emergency lights and sirens.…

“The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” This story is realistic because the people in the story used cars, lived in houses, used roads just like we do today. The people of the town were doing normal things like we do today such as; such as Steve Brand polishing a car, the ice cream man was selling ice cream to the kids, and another man waters his lawn. Two women are in the yard gossiping. All of these things happens in many neighbors around the world on a warm summer day.…

"You pursue the negative," Willie-Jay had informed him once, in one of his lectures. "You want not to give a damn, to exist without responsibility, without faith or friends or warmth.” (Capote 45) (4) Capote uses direct characterization to give the reader insight of Perry through another character's perspective. This is a recurring motif for the character of Perry, he has never been married and always distances himself from most other people. This insight shows Perry’s poor mental health because he rejects the possibility to love others and find “warmth”.…

On November 12, 1966, five men who were digging a grave at a cemetery near Clendenin, West Virginia, claimed to see a man-like figure fly low from the trees over their heads.[5] This is often identified as the first known sighting of what became known as the Mothman. Shortly thereafter, on November 15, 1966, two young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette, told police they saw a large grey creature whose eyes "glowed red" when the car headlights picked it up. They described it as a "large flying man with ten-foot wings", following their car while they were driving in an area outside of town known as "the TNT area", the site of a former World War II munitions plant.[6][7] During the next few days,…

Rejected and ignored, the Discopter seemed destined to fade away. Then came 1947. Rainier at speeds he clocked at 1,200 miles per hour. Although Arnold never specifically used the term “flying saucer,” he was quoted at the time saying the shape of the objects he saw was like a “saucer,” “disc,” or “pie plate.”…

Powers is a powerful writer who presented a book that was so deep and big that it caught me off guard. The novel raises questions about identity and consciousness. A central question of the novel was, do we recognize ourselves by the way others see us, or do we define ourselves?
