The four fundamental forces have been around before mankind. These forces shape the way we live and interact with the objects around us on a daily basis. These forces are so important, they are in existence throughout the entire universe. Black holes, the formation of planets, galaxies and stars are all because of gravity and these same celestial bodies have their own electromagnetic forces and the strong and weak nuclear forces are. Since everything in the universe is made of atoms, there is strong nuclear force everywhere around us. Also, because radioactive material decays over time, the weak nuclear force is important to our safety.
The weakest of all four fundamental forces, gravity, was discovered in 1655 by Sir Isaac Newton. One day, Newton was drinking tea and observed an apple falling from a tree. Newton deduced that the force that caused the apple to fall to the ground also is the same force that causes the moon to orbit the earth. This also added to the evidence of other scientists’ work that the earth was not the center of the solar system. Newton soon published a book with this discovery and many other mathematical equations explained inside. This was

The strong nuclear force was ruled out also because this force does not affect electrons. Gravity was also ruled out because gravity is too weak to be involved in this process. Since this force was not as strong as the strong nuclear force, but stronger than gravity, it was named the weak nuclear force. There was never any controversy about the legitimacy of the weak nuclear force, primarily because there were many scientists who put their ideas and findings together to help with the explanation of this whole process and all of the evidence to support the finding of this source had been tested and
