Nuclear Fission Vs Nuclear Fusion

Both Nuclear fission and Nuclear fusion reactions have their advantages and disadvantages. In terms of energy that they produce fusion reactions produces relatively more energy compared to fission reactions however fusion reactions require more conditions for them to take place. They require higher temperatures which means that the energy that has to be inputted for them to work is way more compared to the energy inputted for the fission reactions because of this fact it might not be wise to input more energy when we are trying to find ways to get energy without using too much in the process of acquiring it.The conditions that fusion requires means that it is quite highly cost wise to get fusion working compared to fission reactions because they do not require the same type of containment fusion requires. It would be a harm in the sense that if it is not well maintained or if the security measures are not followed and it causes any meltdowns then this would be bad for the population because they would be exposed to radioactive substances. When humans are exposed to a lot of radiation this could either kill some cells or cause mutations that could possibly cause cancer. At which human health is more important than energy.Another problem fission suffers is the fact that disposing the waste is a challenge and if not done properly it can be hazardous to the people.
