Nuclear engineering is a very beneficial career. You are in a position to help the world move forward as a whole. Nuclear engineers help pave the way to the future with, new medicines and new inventions, but the job isn't for everyone, with their use of math and science they learned in college it can take a toll on someone not up for the task, other than that the job is like most others you are in an office but get paid fairly well . With the use of math and many other sciences this might not be a career for everyone. This is mostly office work but sometimes you could be traveling to power plants. In 1905 one of the most well known nuclear physicists of all times Albert Einstein created the Theory or Relativity. In 1962 a team of Nuclear engineers created the first ever advanced gas-cooled reactor. Nuclear engineers had many more inventions and they are one of the leading factors of propelling the human race as a whole into the future (Nuclear Technologies Timeline). With great accomplishments like this comes somewhat above average pay with a median of Fifty dollars a hour and just below One Hundred and Five thousand dollars a year. With such a low number in jobs there isn't that much room for new hires but the job field is steadily growing at nine percent a year (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Most nuclear engineers develop new nuclear equipment for experiments among other things. Other Nuclear engineers are similar to managers but they are working in nuclear facilities they normally monitor the workers and make sure everything is in code and goes along with safety rules. There are also other nuclear engineers who study nuclear accidents, they take data from the accident and try to determine if the accident could be fatal or if its not that big of a deal. Others in this field test nuclear materials and help discover new ways to dispose of nuclear waste without causing harm to the
