The nuclear energy

While demand for energy continues to rise due the continuous need of energy in developing and developed countries and the fast decrease of natural non renewable sources of energy such as oil and gas, many countries face serious challenges regarding the security of their energy supply. As Juan Pablo Perez Alfonzo said “the oil is the evil’s excrement” therefore we can legitimately wonder what is the nuclear energy. For

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the nuclear energy?

As I study more and make more research, I made my opinion about the nuclear energy.
I am from France and nuclear energy is strongly implanted in our culture and economy.
I have never been scared of a terrorist attack on a nuclear plant or even a problem with any of our reactors and it is still the case despite my research. Once in a while, we hear about a minor incident which occurred but nothing to be worry about. I believe that nuclear energy is only a temporary solution and some better source of energy has to be found in the near future. Renewable energy is a great idea, but so far we can not produced on a big scale, some improvement has to be done to take over the nuclear energy.

As I wrote previously, Nuclear energy requires Uranium and just like any other fossil energies, we have a limited resources of uranium. These resources are estimated at approximately 50 years (against 40 years for oil and 70 years for gas) and in case of the nuclear energy is getting more adopted all over the world, the problem of having a too little of it will comeback. On the other hand, Nuclear energy is an energy which doesn’t harm the environment when it is produced; nuclear power is a solution but probably not the best. One of the major advantages that the nuclear energy provides is the fact that it does not produce greenhouse effects, unlike other energy sources like oil, gas and coal. Green house affect
