If the question is about registering the college classes when a student is in the high school then I think that summer is the best time before the chaos of September rolls around for the student to start the preliminary phases of college admissions. So, the registration should be done before the student's graduation. If the student is already studying in the college then he/she should register for new classes a couple weeks before the next semester starts. That way the students can review everything beforehand and be ready for the next semester.
3. The students need to take placement tests. After the student gets the Placement Report, he/she needs to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss the results, plan, and register for appropriate classes. According to the placement test scores, the advisor will suggest students that what courses they should be taking which would match with their program.
4. After the student gets into their RACC portal, they need to go to the launchpad which is located on the left and then point towards the option called WEBADVISOR QUICKLINKS. They need to click on the Student Menu and they will be redirected to a page full of different options. Under the title "Registration", they can click on "Register for Sections".
