The core objectives of this lab is to understand the concept of cell association of received power (Rx) and designing a modified network planning for an LTE services using multiple eNodeBs for an indoor premises (shopping complex). We are also going to compare the noise limited and interference limited systems along with its interference synchronization in radio access network.
To accomplish these objectives, we are going to perform the following tasks:
1. To expand the indoor design of LTE service for the shopping complex, we are going to use seven femtocell and will perform the SINR (signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio) and bit-rate using the simulation tool Wireless Insite and MATLAB for coding. Furthermore we are going to consider the

b) Performing LTE/LTE-A system when the interference between the femtocells are been coordinated using intercell interference coordination(ICIC).

2. The Next thing is to construct a simulation environment using a geometry of 7 femtocells ,7 Antennas (with a gain of 3dBi ), waveforms (with frequency of 2.0 GHz) along with 7 receivers(with transmit power of 23dBm and its height of 4.5m) for floor planning of the shopping complex.

3. To perform the Radio access network using two methods:
a) Using Wireless Insite (commonly known as built in post processing).
b) Using MATLAB (commonly known as the post-processing).
c) Cell association and cell dominance formation using wireless Insite to get UE to be associated(served) with single femtocell eNB(preferred to be robust signal) and viewing it (UE).

4. Importing the information of transmitted power, received power ,cell association of eNBs into the MATLAB using ‘.p2m’ file extension .And then finding the serving cell for highest received power in 2D matrix.Calculating the SINR (signal interference plus noise ratio) for the intercell interference using the below

    1. Introduction In line with the tradition of newer technologies being designed to satisfy upcoming needs, Bluetooth was developed to take over the place of cables that connect mobile devices to their peripherals including but not limited to notebook computers, digital cameras, cellular phones, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). Bluetooth can be defined as open standard that permits communication between diverse devices using a standard short-range wireless radio connection. Even though Bluetooth technology is a technology that replaces cable technology, its current application is diverse.…

Viettel and a new telecom revolution At the 9th Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam (CLV) Development Triangle Area Summit took place in Siem Reap, the Kingdom of Cambodia on 23/11 and 24/11, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recommended setting up local mechanisms among the three countries to reduce the cost of communications, promote closer cooperation, stimulate the economic development of the three countries. To complete this mission, Viettel Group (Viettel) and Metfone (Viettel’s Brandname in Cambodia) and Unitel (Trademark of Viettel in Laos) will collaborate to allow its subscribers to contact to the others network by the same way as internal communications network operating in the country. This (if implemented) could be the starting point…

A base station for microwaves is line of sight (LOS) dependent and two stations can connect up to 48km if they are in LOS (Cowley, 2012). The further a microwave signal travels between relays the lower the possible data rate (Cowley, 2012). Microwave transmissions utilize an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technique. The OFDM technique basically splits the high-speed data into multiple lower-speed signals and places them in subcarriers, this creates an efficient use of the radio spectrum and allows the microwave signal to travel with very little interference (Cowley, 2012). Other benefits of using WiMax technology are the high bandwidth it supports as well as its security, both are vital in healthcare…

1  Abstract — Information sent and received in wireless communication systems can suffer from data losses due to multipath propagation, further leading to intersymbol interference. These conditions compromise the integrity of the information transmitted. This paper explores the Viterbi algorithm used to combat error bounds in convolutional codes, and develops a MATLAB-based alternative model of the algorithm for continuous time applications that is shown to significantly diminish the effects of intersymbol interference in the wireless transmission of a signal. With the development trend of wireless communication, the main application scenarios of D2D communication in 5G network are as follows: Local service Local service generally can be understood as the user side of the business data is not through the network side (such as the core network) and directly for the local transmission. A typical case of local business is the application of social, social characteristics can be regarded as the application of adjacent D2D technology application based on one of the most basic scenes. For example, the user through the discovery of D2D function to find areas adjacent to interested users; through the D2D communication function, can transmit data between adjacent users, such as content sharing, interactive…
