1) Describe those factors which influenced your decision to pursue a career in teaching.

There were so many influential teachers that have helped shape me throughout the many years of schooling. They have been there for me when I needed to talk, when I needed encouragement, when I needed someone to just listen, and when I needed a friend. I want to be that influential teacher for many students to come in the future. I will be a positive impact on students that they will never forget.

Task-5 a) • Metals Metal structure is made up of crystals of metals which are made up of positive metal ions and these ions are surrounded by a sea of delocalized electrons. To separate these substances from this crystal lattice a lot of energy is needed. In between the positive and negative ions is present a strong electrostatic force of attraction. That is the reason why metals have strong melting and boiling points. In order to slide one layer of the metal ions over the other layer very less amount of energy is used.…

On January 29th, we conducted lab 2 which involved learning the basic tools of Dartfish and how to publish Dartfish videos to our own mediabook. The first step in the lab involved going to dartfish.tv and looking at the “3302 Class Resources folder and downloading the video trim file. I then opened the Dartfish software and as a class we reviewed some of the various resources in the software like the different screen options such as split screen or mosaic mode and different tools such as analyzing angle and distance of the video. I learned how to transfer the downloaded video from the computer library to the tray. It’s important to note that you can delete videos from your tray and it will still be on the computer’s library.…

Speed, availability, and reliability are vital for a successful network infrastructure in terms of productivity and user experience. When first configuring this lab, I had to make the decision of whether or not to use one server to run all of the services or if the load should be distributed amongst multiple machines. I decided to go with the later, having a separate server hosting the wiki, another providing monitor services, and yet another acting as the DHCP, DNS and AD controller. While the last three were not required in the scope of this lab, I wanted to set up my initial network in a scalable manner, and this was the best solution for future growth. Distributing the services across multiple machines helps to reduce the processing that each box is required to do in order to fulfill requests.…

The main issue with FOS was coming up with an algorithm that determines the important deliverables of thermocouple systems by using time history data generated from a first-order system. Deliverables include: our MATLAB coded algorithm -which outputs the parameters yL, yH, ts, and - an executive MATLAB file -which outputs SEE and standard deviation values- and a regression plot which compares the prices of FOS models to . Determining these four parameters within 20.0% of the calibrated data points merits a fairly successful model. We had to deal with one important constraint: we are working with data specific to a first-order system, and must use equations that appropriately match.…

Appendix G of Standard 90.1-2004 required that the vertical fenestration areas modeled in the baseline equal the vertical fenestration area of the proposed design or 40% of the gross above-grade wall area, whichever was smaller. For the baseline and proposed model, the amount and distribution of windows was taken off of the existing architectural drawings of the building. The fenestration area equaled 7.8% of the gross above –grade wall…

The Haswell microarchitecture improvises the Ivy-bridge in the following ways: • New socket LGA1150 for desktop processors • New AVX2 Instruction set • New TSX Instruction set • New bit manipulation instructions • New dispatch ports INSTRUCTION SET: The AVX instruction set limited the integer operations to use only 128-bit registers whereas the floating point operations used 256-bit registers. In addition, AVX2 implements three operand FMA instructions. New 15 bit manipulation instructions were added to support cryptography, indexing and data conversion. The third new instruction set is TSX which helps resolve data synchronization issues which arises when same data are used by different processes running at the same time.…

The first challenge that comes to mind for small offices or home offices is the IT department’s responsibility of keeping the data secure. Especially when an employee is logging into the network from home. The company would have to have a firm work-from-home policy in order to protect the company’s data. Another challenge would be where to place the access points in a small building. The configuration of the AP would be an important factor in placement for a small building or home to make sure there are no dead spots.…

Research Question 1 Q: Is it possible to selectively eliminate Hyperplastic hepatocytes with Near-Infrared (NIR) laser emission directed towards Gold Nanorods (GNRs) without damaging host cells? A: Current research is dedicated to conjugating nanoparticles to antibodies, enzymes, receptors and various proteins throughout the body. With their unique optical ability to absorb and scatter light, noble metals, such as gold, makes a perfect contrast candidate to photo-actively increase the temperature of nanoparticles. Conjugating the nanoparticles to an enzyme structure, you assure anti-Hexokinase II antibodies will directly attach to tissues with increased utilization of the enzyme (e.g. hyperplastic changes); this will lead to pinpoint precision of hyperthermic activity to the target tissue.…

For the product to be successful, a server and hardware benchmark would be recommended, as well as the use of recommendations from software providers so that the network and system could be as efficient as possible. For a server that could run multiple devices and manage lots of data, it would require faster, efficient hardware, and suitable software. For the management system to be affective, having a dedicated LAN Server would…
