2. Late work should never be turned on the same day that it’s due. If an assignment is turned in late, then it will not be excepted. However, there will be special cases where the professor allows for late work to be turned in, consequently, the grade will be reduced by ten percent for each day that it’s missing. In other cases, where a student doesn’t have a rough draft for their Writing Project before the rough draft deadline, then they may lose a whole letter grade for that assignment. After uploading my paper, my responsibility is to check to see if my file uploads successfully, that means double checking to verify my paper has been received. If my paper didn’t file through before the deadline, regardless of circumstance, then the assignment is still subject to receive a zero.
4. Course work is graded by points, which represent the total percentage for each different assignment. For example, assignments like the Writing Projects, which comprise of an Informational Report, Editorial Paper, Formal Review/Evaluation, and Reflection Paper make up six-hundred and fifty points. Meaning it’s worth sixty-five percent of my grade and carries the most weight out of any assignments. Homework Logs and Class Room assignments is worth two-hundred points, Attendance is one-hundred points, and Participation is worth fifty points.
5. The course policy for attendance indicates that every student must be on time and in class on their appointed schedules. The number of absences that a student can have before losing points is four, however, if a student misses more than four absences then their attendance grade drops to fifty percent or fifty points. Missing more than six classes will cause them to fail the
