We’ve used a lot of devices and storages so far in our life, but one thing that might be weird to people is the RAID. RAID stand for redundant array of independent disks and is a place for people to store their information. It is stored on CDs, instead of the normal flash drives and hard drives. RAIDS are different from the normal CDs, because they have to divide the data and spread the blocks into several megabytes for RAID to work. This is to make RAID efficient and fast. There are lots of RAIDS, and some are 0,1,5, and 10. RAID 0 is different from the others because it performs the best and doesn’t have any risks with using it. It isn’t complex like its fellow RAIDS because it doesn’t need any sort of data to work. RAID 0 can perform at the highest of levels and doesn’t have any consequences for using it. This is why 0 is the safest disc to use, but might not be as useful for higher storages and work. RAID 1 is known for its mirroring, which is to use two discs and copy the storage for each disc. These discs are very good as well, they can be read at the same time, so it makes it useful for co-workers or someone else to be able to see what they’re doing while you do it.
