CPU known as Central Processing Unit also referred as Processor, Central Processor or microprocessor of the computer. It handles all the instructions from Hardware and Software. It is also called the brain of a computer as all the information is saved and stored in it. The CPU was first developed at Intel and they released 4004 processor. CPU chips are used in digital computers and often used to do the calculations. Processor is the engine of a computer; from this we can tell how fast the system will operate the application. So while choosing the CPU you need to be very careful as if you decide to install a high grade programs which your CPU doesn’t support then you are in problem. ARM is the most trustable supplier for microprocessor technologies. …show more content…
But Intel is the largest between the two. Intel was founded earlier in year 1968. Every country uses this product where PC’s are used. They both produce motherboards which are circuitry at the base of all personal computers. As both are in the same industry they are always against each other for marketplace and technological changes. CPU chips are manufactured by Intel and Advance Micro Devices. Usually customers buy it directly from these companies but some also prefer to buy from companies or other distributors, agents. Intel manufactures many different types of chips like Intel 386, Intel 486, Celeron, Itanium, Pentium and XScale. AMD’S product lines are Athlon, Duron, Opteron, AMD-K6 AND Geode. Intel has chipset, motherboard, software, memory and many more solutions for servers. AMD is more acquiring and have more video capabilities code into new version of their motherboards. It also offers software and memory solutions for …show more content…
AMD processors are useful to people who don’t use their computer that often. These processors are great for people who just want to check e-mail, watch drama, edit few documents which perform light task and don’t use lot of power. Intel is the best option for people who play video games, watch movies, run lot of application all together etc. Intel provides good and better performance per dollar for not so expensive. While AMD chips are pretty expensive. AMD has no gaming powerhouse. AMD supports over clocking while Intel doesn’t really offer over clocking in mid range chips. When it come to gaming area it is really hard to decide which CPU to get. AMD offers many processors and they also combine the processors with Radeon graphics on the same chip but the problem with this is their chips are not fast as Intel and that can drags gaming down. AMD struggles to keep up with Intel when it comes to power efficiency. For laptops Intel powered systems last for longer on a charge. In recent years due to Intel’s best quality AMD can’t compete with it any more. To increase good performance both AMD and Intel started to vary amount of cache memory through pipelines to application. Usually if there is larger amount of memory in processor then it performs faster. Intel is the founder of x86 series of Microprocessor. It is said that Intel is the largest producer of x86 processor in the world. As we all think

To solve this problem, a device will need to be implemented that allows the user to be reminded when to take the medicine, and also be sure that the patient is taking the correct amount of medication. Our first idea was to develop a portable watch device with built in audio and visual cues to remind the patient of their need to take the medication. The device could be programmed ahead of time by a technician, and instruct the user to take the recommended dosage at the correct time.…
