Graphics cards
Graphic cards job is to handle the signals that are generated by the computer. The graphic card is responsible for generating all the text and pictures on the screen. The amount of memory needed to display graphics on the computer is very minimal but when doing 3d gaming for example it is very high so adding a graphics card can help
Memory-Ram
Ram is a storage place to hold data. Ram is faster that most other types of memory because the computer can access any bit of information instantly. This could be one of the main reasons why memory/ram is used in most computers. A downside of ram is that it is power hungry because RAM is a type of volatile memory that would lose all its data without constant power(‘’Random-access Memory’’).

CD-DVD ROM is the most common way to read data on a disc. DVD and CD ROM are very similar but CD-ROM can only read memory but has a larger memory capacity when compared to DVD ROM. A hard drive is always located within a computer. A hard drive is a bunch of many rotating disc/platters moving at high speeds, these are then coated with a magnetic material. The disc/platters are then placed next to the. The data within the harddrive is acceded in a random selection which means that single blocks of data can be stored or retrieved in any other rather than in a sequence. The hard drive will store data even when the computer is off("What Is Hard Drive?").
