Donald McVay, 52, of 744 Critchfield St., Millersburg, pleaded guilty trafficking in marijuana and endangering children. In exchange for his guilty plea, a related charge of contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a minor was dismissed. Manis, 24, formerly ofBig Prairie, pleaded guilty to trafficking in marijuana in the vicinity of a school and aggravated trafficking in oxycodone. In exchange for his guilty plea, a second charge of trafficking in marijuana was dismissed.
The charges stem from incidents occurring on June 22, June 23, July 1 and July 12.
Manis, who faces up to three years in prison, is scheduled to be sentenced on June 8.
Of his actions, Manis simply said, “It was a dumb decision.”
Aaron Michael Bradley, 23, of 14058 State Route 226, Lakeville, charged with two counts of trafficking in marijuana, has filed for intervention in lieu of conviction. The charge stem from incidents occurring on June 22, allegedly in the vicinity of a school, and June 23.
The charges carry a potential sentence of up to 2 ½ years in prison if convicted; however, if Bradley successfully completes the court-ordered treatment program and other conditions, the charges will be dismissed.
On the first occasion, it is alleged that Joshua Blake Lehman, 39, of 361 N. Main St., Shreve, delivered the drugs. He pleaded guilty to an amended charge of permitting drug abuse.
