My findings were consistent with my research on community power and did make a direct correlation. The system has a formal structure were there are elected offices by the residents. The readers got an inside look on two different N.P.U.’s and how their meeting were conducted. All in all, the author concluded that these too particular N.P.U’s were very strong. The reader also got learn about community power. Community power is the ability to make change or decisions within a community. N.P.U.’s and community power goes hand-in-hand, whether the N.P.U. is strong or weak. N.P.U. M and E was both demonstrated they could run effectively and get the work done. If the author was able to redo this study, she would have attended two more N.P.U’s but on the south side of Atlanta’s city limits.
