Notorious B.I.G was an American rapper and an East Coast rapper legend ( Marcovitz #). He “was born on May 21, 1972 in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York” ( Marcovitz 15). He was a legendary rapper who was well known for his songs such as Juicy, Mo Money Mo Problem, Hypnotize and etc. “In the neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant,” (Biography.com). “Biggie Smalls had to overcome a rough childhood, drug dealing, and drug addict”(Biography.com). He joined a group named the Old Gould Brothers and since started singing. “He hung around a crew called the Old Gold Brothers, and began experimenting on his own” (Biography.com).
