These poems are alike. The main themes for these poems are change, sadness, general life, and imagery. They both have change from when it's good and when it's bad. Their both about general life and both have some sad parts like in NGCS, it says "So Eden sank to grief " because the plants were dying, again that's change from alive to dead and in AF it said, "But not a man for farming" which meant he couldn't provide food for his family, change again because the family didn't have lots of food so the were poor, which also was said in AF.
