Therefore Philip cannot be on the track team, so Philip blames Narwin and begins to not like her. Later in the book Philip is switched out of his original home room, which was Mr. Lunser, he was transferred to Miss Narwins home room. Philip causes many issues in Narwins home room, The big one is Philip hums during the National Anthem and tells everyone he is Patriotic when he really is not. The rules state that you must be quiet and respectful during the song, but Philip hums just to annoy Miss Narwin because she gave him an F. Days go by and Philip keeps doing it and finally Narwins send him down to the office for a second time. In the book Philip comes home one day and is upset because of Miss Narwin gave him an F, then another Philip came home another day mad at Miss Narin for sending him to the office for humming during the National Anthem. Philip tells his parents this and encourage him to fight for his rights. So Philip goes to school and hums again, and fights for his rights, Narwin sends his to the office and Philip gets suspended. Due to his suspension Philip and his parents go to Ted Griffin and get the story out the world.
