At first I was a little concerned about the contents of the bag, but eventually “curiosity killed the cat”. Upon opening it, I realized that it was full of money – thousands and thousands of dollars. I immediately rushed over to the police department to report the money, but to my surprise the owner of the money had already been to the police office to inform that he would be giving away a million dollars to a stranger at the park and to not be alarmed. Then it hit me that I was …show more content…
So taking that into account, I would want to donate $10,000 to the human society as a charitable gift. My extended family is also a very important factor, as they have always been there for me in times of need. So I would gift my mother and father $20,000 each, my brother and sister $10,000 each, and my grandmother $10,000. This would leave me $16,578.57. I would use that amount to go vacationing to Disneyland and Paris, France. Ending on that note, I believe that all these spending 's would completely satisfy every need, want, or desire I have ever dreamed about. In conclusion, my lucky day at the park turned out to be the answer to all my financial problems, although it is not a fix to life itself. I decided to take care of my financial worries by focusing on my family debt, financial security, necessities, vacationing, and helping others with charity and/or gifts. A person can have all the riches in the world, but that does not mean life will be without problems. It’s all about how you manage your time, money, and decisions. Every Life Matters I really only started understanding the meaning of abortion once one of my mom’s friends had one. Before that I had very little knowledge about abortion. My parents have always taught me to stand by what I believe and that others may have different beliefs. They always told me that I would meet people that would disagree with me and what I believe not only when it came to these kind of topics but many other things as well. Being told that, they told me to always respect people’s beliefs and their points of view because everyone has the right to stand by what they believe, just like I do.…

Our comprehension of fickle Fortune and the role it plays in our lives are questions that both Boccaccio and Boethius attempt to answer. In his Consolation of Philosophy, the medieval philosopher, Boethius, believes that we should not embrace fickle Fortune’s goods because they can easily be taken away. A devout Christian, Boethius sees Fortune as a spiritual test on our path to finding God and eternal happiness. In the Decameron, Boccaccio takes a more earthly view, claiming that Fortune is cruel and agnostic. He believes that one should use one’s intelligence when dealing with Fortune.…

In life, there is that tendency to ruin the good things one has going on in their lives when they become more successful than they already are. People become inundated with the joy and achievement that they begin to act irresponsibly.
