Key Positions In reviewing the employees who will be working at Not Your Average Ice Cream Shop, we will have four positions that will be crucial to our success. The first position is the life guard. These influences are cultural, social, personal, and psychological. All of these categories play a different and important role in whether or not consumers purchase our ice cream. First is cultural influences which relates to the value, attitude, customs and social class of the consumer. How cultural will relate to our value is that if we make our ice cream drinks too expensive no one will want to buy it, we need to make sure it is affordable and appealing to the target market. Next is social which refers to family, friends and groups of people. For family, if we are seen as only a bar and not a place where a family can still come and get ice cream together as a family will deter those types of consumers. For friends, we need to be seen as a place that friends can come and get a good ice cream mixer together, if not we lose a lot of consumers who like to go out to eat together. The next is groups, so we need to be a place that large groups can come through and have fun so we’ll need to have a big enough space to allow for this. Personal influences refers to personality and demographic of Not Your Average Ice Cream Shop, so we need to attract more of the people in middle class standing because this class is more widespread than the higher or lower classes. If we are seen as an up scale, higher class bar that will keep the middle class away from our business.
