Not A Women Santa

“Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps means a little more.” Macy's Department Store decided to try a woman as Santa Claus. They just need actors to work as the role of Santa in the North Pole. They wanted to try it last year in just New York City but i didn’t work out so well, peple were walking out imbarised with there face red as a apple. They are doing this because they need for actors to play the role of Santa in his workshop at the North Pole. Five woman got the job for this act in Macy's. This could affect Macy's by losing shoppers and they said that because there kids walked out crying. My opinion is that Macy's should not have a woman Santa. With a fake Santa it's like getting coal in your stocking.

He didn't draw woman a Santa he drew a man. He also didn't draw a Santa smelling with perfume and nail polish on their nails. They could also have makeup on and look like a model not a Santa, We dont need a model we need a man santa.

My next reason is the history of Santa all these years I've been born there has also been a man Santa. A chubby, old man, with a white beard, and a red costume not a woman with a fake belly, fake white beard, a fake red costume, fake face that looks like a girl, and a fake Santa that is a girl. The history with Santa and the song about the man Santa, like “Must Be Santa” that was about the real Santa being a man not a women. They just can't pull it off .

Lastly, during world war two all the men were fighting far away from home, So they needed more people to play as Santa so they just started added women santas. There was a big controversary about woman being Santa and all the men at world war today. Today when they had men they asked for women, now there just going back to the history. People were so mad that they just ran out just thinking that was bad example for their

STORY COMMENTS SANTA IN HOLLYWOOD is a family friendly, holiday magical fantasy filled with imagination. Many universal themes vibrate with the audience regarding the idea of believing in the spirit of Christmas and magic.…

The African-American culture is made up of a group of individuals that have resided in the United States for the last 400 years or so. Most of them have descended from slaves who were forced from Africa to work on plantations in the South. Most, if not all, of them have faced a type of discrimination at some point ever since arriving to the United States. Despite the challenges African-Americans eventually moved to big cities like Detroit to thrive and live better lives. While residing in Detroit, they shaped a sense of belonging for themselves and their offspring.…

He is cold and barren. Scrooge rejects offers of dinner invitations, and rudely turns away those asking of donations for those less fortunate. His only concession to the Christmas holiday is to allow his employee a day off with pay (keeping only with social custom) and considers this custom “… a poor excuse for picking a man’s pocket every twenty-fifth December!” (Dickens 47). Later that same night Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley.…

Satirical Article Analysis In the article, “It’s A Sad State Of Affairs When We Can’t Even Refer To Every Holiday As Christmas”, Gerald Crump argues that America has went down the drain with political correctness and inclusivity, by taking away the ability to say, “Merry Christmas”, on any given holiday without being shunned for doing so. Crump’s real statement is for the people who find it hard to say, “Happy Holidays”, which is mainly directed at Christians who are offended and feel their religion is more important than others. Crump develops this satirical article by using irony, repetition, allusions and rhetorical questions, leaving his audience with the impression that the Christians, who claim it offensive to say a greeting that is comfortable…

In the essay, A Remaining Christmas by Hilaire Belloc, the author makes the observation “Indeed, modern men who lack such things, lack sustenance, and our fathers who founded all those ritual observances were very wise.” This statement proves to be valid, not only in the context of the essay, but also in the context of modern life. The author, though writing from a time past, has stated a truth that is relevant to modern society. The observances he is mourning the loss of instilled a sense of reverence and wonder to the Christmas celebration of the house, things that are nearly completely gone from modern Christmas celebrations. The men who established them knew that this sense of awe was vital…necessary not only for the spiritual…

Christmas is a Christian celebration of the birth of Christ, though it also encompasses Greek, Roman and pagan traditions of giving gifts and feasting around the Winter Solstice. It is a time when families and friends come together to share food and exchange gifts (web). In How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss and A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the main characters, the Grinch and Ebenezer Scrooge, are similar to each other in many ways such as their awful personality. The Grinch is a green hairy who is very greedy, stingy, and a little evil creature. He wants nothing to do with the Whos, hates Christmas, and wants the Who 's Christmas spirit to be gone.…

They had the main idea of Scrooge trying to save Christmas, but even that was a little confusing. I have no clue if they wanted the only idea of Scrooge hating Christmas but gaining the Christmas spirit in the end, to be the only part of the plays that connect to one another. There was parts in the play that I was a bit confused as to why they were even in there. I remember watching Rudolph do this dance, and it just cut of one scene and went into that. So the transition there was pretty rough.…

Supernatural Women: Manipulation and Subtlety as Women's Weapon Against Patriarchy Women have oft been compared to supernatural beings, and indeed many of the magical and ethereal beings in literature are women, or at least female presenting – witches, gorgons, sirens, faeries, the female oni and yōkai, onryō, and yūrei. In Fumiko Enchi's Masks, the women in it plot out an elaborate revenge plot against the men in their life who have done them wrong, using what was implied to be a supernatural power, inherent and passed down from generation to generation. Enchi likely used this idea of powerful, otherworldly women as a way to “dramatize” the lived experiences of women and analyze them through this fictional, exaggerated lens.…

Commercials have shown women what they should look like, being a girl myself I’ve had an issue with my weight my whole life. With this being said, commercials show skinny girls that have small waist, nice breast, and the right size of a butt; this causes girls to want to change their bodies and it makes girls feel bad about themselves. Women have been changing their bodies and even their faces since the beginning of time.…

Christmas break in my opinion is probably the second best brake that we have throughout our school year. The main thing I like about Christmas break is how long it is. But even though I like how long we are off school it's almost like we don't have a break because basketball takes over. We get a few days off but the rest of the days are hitting the gym early in the mornings for two to three hours a day. The days I have is the best thing in the world because I get to relax and do something fun for once.…
