Life is a blessing. No one has the right to terminate people’s lives except their Creator. In fact, in all religions, it is forbidden to take other’s lives regardless of the circumstances. All, as human beings, are equal, God created us for the purpose to live, to be kindhearted , to respect and accept each other and to enjoy life and feel safe in society. However, homicides in educational institutions remain without a clear justification. Even though this kind of violence is luckily very rare but the impact of the murder-suicide that recently took place at Northlake College is depressing and traumatic, and many strategies should follow in order to move forward and heal after such a miserable and heartbreaking situation.
