To begin, North Korea keeps themselves isolated from the rest of the world. Jiro Ishimaru says,“A barbed wire fence has been installed. It's high, isn't it? This was not here a year ago. It shows the (Chinese) government's determination to keep the defectors out. You can sense the psychological pressure they are starting to put on the North Koreans.”-PBS. State Employee states,“This is dangerous. And if I get caught, I know I'd immediately be executed as a traitor to the Korean people. But I've got to do this. I've got to do this, no matter what.
