My name my Thomas Williams-Gibson and I am enrolled in the Doctor of Business Administration with specialization in Organization Leadership program. I have chosen to attend North Central University because of all the great benefits they offer for every student to be successful. I have attended of University on ground and online, but at NCU it is far from the typical college or University. First and foremost the University Mission is what stood out to me. “NCU mentors students One-to-One with highly credentialed faculty via advanced delivery modalities. Northcentral commits to helping students achieve academically and become valuable contributors to their communities and within their professions”. This one-to-one method of learning is exactly what I need and what I was searching for when working in my Doctoral degree. By this type of access to my professor gives me a stronger sense of confidence as I know my professor have total focus on my work. When enrolling into the University, the staff was so helpful and vigilant. They welcomed me with open arms, they listened to my concerns with starting a degree plan. The staff helped me to pull together all my goals and dreams and successfully chose a degree plan that will be in sync …show more content…
This type of flexibility helps me to fit my schedule around complete my reading and assignments. I has always been incredulous with starting programs because they may require me to travel to the University. At, NCU this is not the case. I am a father to 5 boys, 9, 7, 4, 3, and 7 months, a husband to my wife and NCU flexibility will allow me to have the opportunity to attend school events along with having family time at home.
