Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in another state? Well, if you have, what state? If you like warm places, with a beach, and being close to an Army fort and Myrtle Beach, North Carolina is for you! There is Fort Bragg to the west of the coast. Then there is Myrtle Beach to the south of the coast. There are also many places to visit in the summer. Besides, it is warm all year round. After this, I want you to think about where you want to live when you get older.
North Carolina is a very old state. “North Carolina was one of the 13 colonies.” (NCH) It was established in 1653. As being the 8th colony established, this state is very important and historical. (NCH) It was also home to the biggest Native American tribe. Many schools and towns are named after the great leaders. There are many historical places you can visit in North Carolina. …show more content…
“There are more than 100 events and festivals in North Carolina.” (20 NC USA E&F) But, I will only talk about 3 of them. The first one is in April. “It is called the NC Azalea Festival. It is a 3-day event.” (20 NC USA E&F) This is in Wilmington, NC. The next one is in April/May. The time depends on the weather. This festival is called Biltmore Festival of Flowers. Biltmore is in Asheville, NC. The last festival I will talk about is in June. They call this the American Dance Festival. This is in Durham, NC. When you live in North Carolina, tourism is amazing in the summer. You meet a lot of really nice
