How would our world react if a meteorite was on a collision course with our planet and there was no chance of it missing us? The answer is simple: the world would return to its roots. The people of our planet would be returning to their homes, embracing their families, worshipping their religion, and praying that a greater power would help us. Proposing that the meteorite suddenly changed its course and missed our planet, how would our world join together through the fear of the event and celebrate with joy and peace? In-light of the meteorite missing the planet, a museum decides to have a worldwide exhibition featuring a piece of “art” from every culture except Antarctica. North America will present an item such as a tightly woven basket with a surrounding design showcasing the world before and after the meteor. Also in the North America exhibit will be smaller pieces of art, such as paintings, from multiple artists around the continent expressing the future of the world in peace.
A traditional way to celebrate in South America is through music and dancing. South America will bring a traditional video of women dancing in a circle together. The women will have bright, colorful dresses symbolizing the bright colors of the animals and forests and have smiles on their faces showing the happiness and joy of their cultures. Architecture and religion are two of the major focuses of Europe’s roots. One of the most famous pieces of architecture is the Arch of Triumph. In the museum, there would be an Arch of Triumph in the doorway of Europe’s exhibit that the observers can process under. This arch would represent the victory of the meteorite missing the planet and also symbolize the joining of the world together in peace. The walls of the Europe exhibit will have stained glass windows representing the beautiful cathedrals of Europe. These would also depict the peace of Europe through a religious
