I called a few friends to help with the transformation and my journey began. I wore glasses, a green, turtleneck, mom jeans, sandals with socks, and a fanny pack. My hair was combed in a side ponytail; I drew fake acne and a slight mustache on my face and jumped in my car. I headed to a nearby restaurant for happy hour when I got there I stayed in my car for a few minutes. I hesitated because I did not want any negative attention, why? Society has programmed us to not want to be outcast which, consequently, prevents us from breaking norms. I finally got the courage to enter the restaurant, I got out of my car and immediately I could feel everyone staring and then came the laughter and the eye rolling. People began to laugh and whisper amongst themselves. I waited at the bar for service but I was being ignored. I have never waited this long to get a drink. I finally placed my order but I noticed the bartender trying extremely hard to not make eye
